Product Details

The design 1951 is inspired by the Festival of Britain, a spectacular event which raised the spirits of the country still living in post war austerity. The exhibition celebrated British design and manufacturing and exciting new styles emerged from the period.

The simplicity of 1951 is a versatile design, embellish it with stitches, or use in patchwork and other craft projects.

The linen and linen / cotton blend fabrics are best for embroidering into as they have a looser weave and wonderful texture.

1951, printed in a gentle sage green.

- printed area measures approx 48.5 x 34cm (19 x 13.25")
- printed with water based inks
