These Limited Edition Fabric Packs are a collaboration between myself and Natural Dyer Elli Beaven of Wholecloth Studio, Elli has dyed the cotton and linen / cotton blend fabrics I usually print on with plant dyes to produce these wonderful deep and luminous shades. I have then printed over the top to create some truly unique and limited edition fabrics.
There are two pack size available, each contain 5 different fabrics.
The small pack contains approx 50 x 45cm of fabric in total. The large pack contains approx 125 x 35cm in total.
These coordinated packs have been curated for you to create your own special projects in tones that are rich and natural.
Print placement on the pack you receive may vary.
fabric care:
Plant dyed fabrics can be less colour and light fast than their chemical counterparts, even with a rigorous scouring and mordanting process. Some transience in these gently luminous colours is part of their beauty and any gradual fading will not detract from the integrity of the textile.
You can prolong the intensity of your plant dyed pieces by keeping them out of direct light. Should they need washing, hand wash with a neutral detergent in cool water and air dry.
To prolong the life of the screen printed design, iron on the reverse of the print.
The fabrics are hand screen printed in my London studio.
Small imperfections may be present, these will be minor and part of the beauty of buying handprinted fabrics.
